Comment on JSON data format for MCQ data bank in ~comp

The more important...This is very much readable when viewed as a JSON file also. However, what I am thinking is that once the data-bank grows in size into hundreds/thousands of QA, a lot of space will be wasted by those keys (q,a,b,etc.) isn't it? In this case, an array like this is more efficient from storage perspective:
Premature optimization is the root of all evil.
Given modern disk capacities, the storage space required for a few dozen extra characters of text per record is negligible.
The more important question is which format is easier to understand and easier to extend when requirements change? That's the one you should use.

I pre-registered for it mainly out of curiosity, but I'm extremely doubtful that I would actually buy any shares. I long ago realized that I don't have the expertise or attention span to effectively invest in individual stocks, so I stick with mutual funds and ETFs. Seems like most social media stocks tank after IPO anyway.

Comment on How 'terrible artist' Rob Liefeld made millions in ~comics
GogglesPisano The 40 Worst Rob Liefeld Drawings (Part 1)The 40 Worst Rob Liefeld Drawings (Part 1)
Rob Liefeld is one of the most successful, recognizable, well-known and popular comic book artists in history despite being difficult to work with, egotistical, contrary and missing deadlines on a consistent basis. He has made more money than most of us will ever see in our lifetimes. He still cannot draw a foot.

Probably they're happening, in part, because a good sized chunk of the public is eager to believe in government coverups, allowing politicians to position themselves as swamp drainers for those voters.
I am suspicious because these nonsense "hearings" are being held by the Republican-controlled House, the same party who is asking us to believe, despite a veritable mountain of evidence to the contrary, that Trump actually won the 2020 election, the January 6th insurrection was just a group of overly-friendly tourists, and the myriad criminal charges against Trump are imaginary. These days it's in the GOP's best interest for people to distrust the government and to deny science and rationality.

If you need to replace them, consider getting combination carbon monoxide/smoke detectors - CO is scary and kills quickly.

Termites and carpenter ants can do a huge amount of costly damage to a house before you even realize they're there - the best cure is prevention.

I don't understand it - I enjoy most other kinds of fish and seafood, and I don't think of myself as a picky eater.

Comment on New York City is cleared for first-in-US congestion tolls as soon as April in ~transport

While subway usage has steadily increased since its pandemic-lows, weekday subway ridership is about 70% of 2019 levels, according to MTA data. And systemwide ridership may only reach 80% of pre-pandemic usage by the end of 2026, the transit agency estimates.
I'd be willing to bet that the drop in mass transit riders is less about people driving in cars and more about people working from home who no longer have to commute into the city (I'm one of them, thank God).
In no particular order:
Forrest Gump
The Incredibles
Pulp Fiction
Saving Private Ryan
Star Wars : A New Hope
Blazing Saddles
Raiders of the Lost Ark
Monty Python and the Holy Grail
Raising Arizona
Lord of the Rings trilogy
Plenty of others I could add (Aliens, Godfather, Young Frankenstein, etc, etc) - choosing just ten is hard.
