I've been listening to a lot of metal mixes by "Metal Guitar Stuff" on YouTube and Spotify (Tore Fagerheim on Spotify). Absolutely fantastic workout and background music.

It's not any kind of extreme metal so I think it appeals to a a lot of people, and there are no vocals which I know that many newer listeners to the genre find difficult to listen to.

You can simultaneously argue that you'll receive a better product for the extra price, but I'm not sure I fully believe that.

Start your planning as early as possible. You'll find that everything suddenly becomes more expensive just because it has "wedding" attached to it, so it helps to be as early as possible in regards to venues, catering, flower arrangements, etc.

It's important to remember that it's all about you and your partner, and don't be pressured by family members or friends to do something you don't want to just to appease them.

I would envision it to be a combination of various subreddits, like /r/twoxchromosomes, /r/femalelivingspace, /r/makeupaddiction, and /r/askwomen all in one. Sort of.

    Yay, girl corner.

I wish you a very happy birthday, @Multi_pass!

So where are you in life? And how are you feeling about it?

Now that my husband and I are both 30, we've been discussing having children at some point but the thought scares me. I really don't think that I could handle giving birth or even being highly pregnant; not to mention it would impact my career a fair bit, but it makes me feel like a failure in a way?

Is anyone else in my situation maybe?

It's likely just halted on the app/play store in the EU instead of any active blocking on the application itself.

Yikes. I was going to download it to check it out but there is just no reason it needs all of that; that's a hard no from me.

How bizarre. I can't even begin to speculate about the details of this deal.

The announcement comes as the Belarusian government claimed President Alexander Lukashenko had reached a deal with Wagner boss to halt the march of his forces on Moscow.

I sincerely hope that you guys don't stop fighting this.

It's almost difficult to properly sympathise with; I just cannot imagine this even being up for discussion in matter of law in my area of the world because of how obvious the right to have an abortion is.

Metallica for sure. I've seen them live three times and each time has been better than the previous. They put on such good performances and it'll be a sad day when they stop touring.

Drawing a direct comparison to Reddit might not be the best, but Reddit definitely had some really nice subreddits for things that are uniquely women's things, and I would absolutely welcome something similar to them here.

That said, I think it would be good to create a space uniquely for men as well, else I think Tildes may to some degree, fall into a trap of one tiny area being specifically for us women and the rest of the website being for men. While that's obviously not the case, I think it's at least worth considering.

Can I ask why? All I ever saw from that subreddit was vitriol, unless there's some meta-humour that I'm not understanding.

It's superb and has actually made me stop distro-hopping.

I like the fact that it isn't a derivative like Ubuntu, Pop!_OS, or such and that there's an actual company behind it that need to make sure that their desktop OS actually works properly, which in turns means stability even for a rolling release like Tumbleweed.

YaST is an incredible piece of software to manage everything, especially finicky things that someone might not be super comfortable with in the CLI. And although I prefer Gnome, SUSE's implementation of KDE is fantastic, but that's personal preference of course.

There is actually quite a handy "Why?" on their website if that's of any interest, although obviously it's written by SUSE themselves so keep bias in mind. :)
