I've been using letterboxd for years and I'd like to also log and categorise my games (backloggd), shows (serializd), books (Goodreads) and music (Rateyourmusic), but I have no interest in having 5 separate apps each with their unique accounts, UI and flow. I just want to log stuff, add things to my "watchlist" and eventually read reviews and information about media (what actors were in this, who sang what instrument on this album, what studio made this game etc.)
These apps are so similar they are only divided by their media type, and they have no reason to exist separately.
To make it also an inherent benefit of having it combined, if you liked the Metro games the app could also recommend you not only similar games but also the Metro books. Bit of a silly simple example but you get the idea.
I wouldn't ever start such a project myself because it's a front end heavy app and it's not my strong suit, but it's honestly the one thing I would really want to have and haven't found any alternative atm (except a spreadsheet).

Comment on ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ struts past $1B global box office; soon to become biggest R-rated movie ever worldwide in ~movies

The humour is either fart and butts level or solely based on callbacks.
The action is really cool though. And that's what the whole point was, the reason for a wolverine X Deadpool movie is to get to see them doing cool stuff (we could have gotten more batshit fun things like gambit empowering wolverines skeleton like in the cartoon)
If you judge it by what it was trying to be then it did it's job. It specifically talks about letting old ideas "die" and giving things an actual end, not keep rebooting stories by relying on the all mighty multiverse.

It's just your average bad Nic Cage movie, following every 00s trope. But for me it is in the category of so bad it's good, like, how can you watch Johnny Blaze eat jelly beans out of a margarita glass and not lose your shit?
I never read any comic books but ghost rider is my favourite hero concept and I wish they'd have done something more serious with him like the Netflix Daredevil show. (I liked Robbie Reyes in Agents of Shield but they didn't take that seriously)
Hellboy and Ghostrider have the opportunity to mix in some really fun occult, religious and unique concepts and conflicts that aren't available to other media and it's a shame.
Plus flaming guy on fast bike is cool

I do wish to apologise because I'm generally a horrible writer but I'm trying my best!
- Tom Petty - Love Is A Long Road - GTA VI Trailer just reminded me how much I love Tom Petty's music and the vibe it gives
- Weezer - Island In The Sun
- Hällas - Star Rider - This 70s metal sounding piece from a Swedish prog-rock group is actually from 2017. I absolutely adore this song, it fills me with feelings of joy, sadness, hopelessness and hope at the same time? Above all of that it is also just an earworm, the synth parts and the guitar riffs are just... We have a saying in Romanian for this that sounds incredibly quirky in english but it is "anointing my soul". Honestly recommend anyone to give this a listen just out of curiosity at least.
- Sting - Shape Of My Heart
- Chris Cornell - Nearly Forgot My Broken Heart - Ok Chris Cornell is in no way unkown, but I do believe he is deserving of greater acknowledgment. I find especially this piece to be incredibly soul crushing while being just a straight up upbeat song. RIP Chris. For me he is one of my favourite vocalists of all time alongside Myles Kennedy and Eddie Vedder.
- Black Rebel Motorcycle Club - Beat the Devil's Tattoo - Hellboy (2019) was an absolute disgusting pile of bullshit but it did remind me of this brilliant song.
BONUS!
Mosaika Group - Rubicon (Мозаика Рубикон) https://youtu.be/mwGJTTMSS8A?t=759 - I found this incredibly old vinyl at a friend's house and I fell in love with it. It sounds like a Soviet Deep Purple/Pink Floyd with incredible classic rock and hard rock elements. I don't know the story behind the album or the band but if anyone has any idea I'd love to learn more.

I'm only clarifying this because I've seen multiple videos of "tiktok influencers" "apologising" to him and giving him legitimacy. Jokes can be funny when they are clearly meant to be jokes, but people are incredibly gullible.

Comment on Letterboxd/goodreads/storygraph but for video games in ~games

Basically I keep a spreadsheet with a sheet each for everything (movies, tv shows, games, albums, etc.) and I use it as my "watchlist" and also "watched" by logging dates and details where relevant. Now, this might work for me but not for the majority because the main reason I want to log things is because of my poor memory and to vent my ideas about the film/game/album while they're fresh, not for the social-media or review sharing part of it.
I did try to use backloggd, goodreads and a few others but it's quite an inconvenience for me to learn the layout of your particular site, even remember the name when I only use it maybe once a month when I finish a new game or book.
I'm generally against monopolizing things under one singular conglomerate but I feel like in this case it's a justified usecase.
I was personally looking for this recently too. However I'm very interested if anyone has some recommendations for slim wallets made in Europe, as it seems most of the mentioned options are made in the US and would involve overseas shipping.
