    A used Thinkpad is the laptop I recommend to everybody. A model like the T460 is built like a tank, fast, upgradable, and most importantly (to me at least) really cheap.

    I switched to Tutanota for mail a while back, mostly just to the growing instability of Proton, and all their other services can easily be replaced by some other cheap VPN, a hard drive, and an...

    Give Jellyfin a go! It's a lot like plex, but free and open source. Easy to set up too. I must have at least 2TB of movies, music, etc. on there, and it fetches all the metadata automatically

    Used to love simracing! Sadly I had to sell off my gear about a year ago, was pretty active on the reddit too. Loved playing Assetto Corsa with loads of mods and just cruisin' on that one Japanese...

    On a more serious note, 'Bananaz' is a pretty cool one on the creation of Gorillaz first 2 albums, lots of cool footage that I never would have seen otherwise. Avaliable on Youtube.
