It’s the only film I actually bothered to go to the cinema for in the last ~5 years. Walked out I think 3/4 through. It wasn’t egregiously bad, but boring and long enough that I’d rather spend my Sunday afternoon doing something else.

I watched the first one as a kid. Experiencing it in 3D at the cinema was nothing short of a magical experience. The second one, while very good looking, didn’t have this aspect of exciting new technology to go along with it. I’m sure there’s plenty of excitement for vfx nerds, but nothing a layman could get excited about. The story and characters are developed just enough to drive the exciting visuals.

Im not familiar at all with vtubers besides knowing they exist, I still use the internet like its 2016.

I always assumed the vtubers were kind of automated so the whole thing seems less offputting knowing there is a person behind them in a more literal sense.

Last question if you dont mind. As a viewer, what category do you think this channel fall under, comedy? just chatting? or is seeing the goals other subscribers set the fun part?

I'm only 25 and I'm already too old for this shit.. I watched for 2 minutes and i cant make out what im seeing, help me out. So the avatar is an AI, but then suddenly theres many other avatars on screen (like at 1:27), are all of those collaborators also AI created by the same guy or different AI by other people?

I also dont understand whats going on from 1:00 to 1:12. Is that a random viewer of the stream in a shop letting the a.i pick what it wants?

Personally I don’t see how reddit can improve. They’ve never been profitable. Their most exciting lately is they have a deal with openai. They’re actively selling data to fund a product that will actively make their own less attractive to their own clients. Users get a less enjoyable experience and use the app less. Advertisers don’t want to pay for their stuff to be shown to a bot eco chamber. Pivoting to video content is probably helping with that, but I don’t see it catching up to tiktoks numbers soon.

seconding stremio. You will just need to also search stremio addons and download the torrentio addon. It works like a streaming service (remembers where you are in an episode, which youve watched, a library and recently viewed + browsing by categories) but it has 99% of the content youll ever look for.

its a testament to the state of paid for streaming that i actually do have access to hbo, disney, netflix and prime and still opt for stremio out of simplicity and a good user experience.

I really liked c tangana’s despite not liking more than one or two songs from him (being from Madrid it’s almost obligatory to know him). It came out during the end of the pandemic I think, and it’s a classic Spanish sobremesa of friends eating, drinking and making music, at a time we couldn’t do that for like a year. Has a special spot in my heart for that.

How accurate do you think the video comes across? Can normal1 period cramps really be that strong and debilitating?

personally the least relatable part is for how long theyll have it at an 8. If its terrible cramps, it can get to a 10 really quickly and without warning, for like a second or two (enough to maybe make me have to crouch or hold on to something) and then it lessens, but the worse the period (usually during day 1-3 for me) the longer it will stay feeling like someone is squishing your guts from the inside. but its not 24/7 pain for me thankfully. Imagine the worst gases youve ever had and how acute but sharp the pain can be and how randomly it comes.
