Comment on Folks in those $100k+ jobs, corporate types, office workers... What would you say you actually do? in ~life

Most of my day is listening to music and reading logs while assisting the younger team members in their cases. While my brain is working throughout the day, (as long as no one is having a stroke while our software is not working correctly) I can walk away to take a break whenever I need.
I've always said the lowest paid people do the most actual work. The higher paid someone is, the less they need to use their brains or muscles to complete the task at hand. I'm not saying that folks who make a lot of money, aren't necessary in society or aren't doing any work. I'm just saying that the work they do is less strenuous.
As a parent, and an American, I'd like to remind you that your job is more important than any VP is. Our children's lives depend on you. You foster love of learning, you teach child how to work with others, you literally keep our children alive for 8 hours a day. I cannot thank you enough for what you do and society would collapse without you and your follow teachers.

I'm more of a fan of his earlier (legal thriller) stuff than his latest novels. Any Suggestions?

You'll laugh, you'll cry, but most importantly, you'll get lost in the world of Kevin McCallister's 8 year old world.

And finally, is there a way to condense the UI more? I was a big fan of RIF (redditIsFun) for Reddit and it's minimalist layout. I also was a old.reddit user and could not use the new website layout and it's why I couldn't use the Reddit app.
These are just my preferences and I understand that not everyone will like the same things.

Bill Lawrence, the creator of both and Scrubs. Brett Goldstein (Roy in Ted Lasso) writes the first two seasons of Ted Lasso and the first season of Shrinking. Zach Braff, Scrubs, directors episodes on both shows. Again, I recommend both shows to everyone.
I enjoyed 11/22/63 very much. I would agree with @tomf and say that the miniseries with the same name is worth a watch (once you finish the book). It stars James Franco with Chris Cooper playing the diner owner. I originally watched it on Hulu when it first came out and it appears that it's still there.
