Yeah, but the increased world depth in the new versions gives me even more time to mine. And the deepslate takes longer to mine too.

The way I play Minecraft is so far like nobody else I've ever met. Usually starts normal, make a house, get stone tools. Then I start mining. I mine an entire chunk, straight to bedrock. (underground so it isn't visible from the surface). I mine with stone tools because I can craft an infinite amount of them. Once I'm done a chunk, I simply start again on another. I rarely go into the nether if I can help it, and I never, ever go to the end or beat the dragon. Just mining. What do I do with all the stone I get, you may wonder? Nothing. I just put it randomly into chests in my house.

On multiplayer servers I usually give the stone away to people who need it for their builds. I'm no builder, I never use it myself. On one server someone took notice and couldn't abide me using a stone pickaxe, so they built me a beacon and gave me an enchanted pick. I hated it. I was mining so fast I didn't even realize I was mining. I went back to stone tools.

I am a 40 year old truck mechanic who spends a majority of my time looking at automobile magazines. I have 7 children and two wives. I live in Argentina most days, with a vacation home in Angola. My favourite food is Bolivian cuisine.

Thought some might find this example of a pre-steroid bodybuilder to be interesting. I enjoy this YouTuber's videos about the era of strongmen who's natural status is unquestionable (since steroids weren't even a thing in their time).

More specifically about Hackenschmidt, he is a very impressive example of just how big someone can get while being entirely natural. He lived to the age of 90, which is far older than many modern bodybuilders who take a cocktail of PEDs tend to live.

I have been on a ferocious cut. Not even that I'm eating very little (I'm not), but I've just been swimming a hell of a lot. 2hrs continuously every day from 7:30PM-9:30PM at a pool which is only a 15min walk from my house. Of course I never leave the slow lane during this, but that's fine.

Even doing extremely casual swimming for that long will burn huge amounts of energy. It also has helped with my sleep enormously.

How exactly does free stuff fund terrorists and the like? I'm not trying to be combative, I'm genuinely curious. My impression of online piracy has always been that it's a giant money furnace....

How exactly does free stuff fund terrorists and the like? I'm not trying to be combative, I'm genuinely curious. My impression of online piracy has always been that it's a giant money furnace. Giving stuff away for free is not exactly a good business model, after all.

Many pirate sites run ads, but I'd be surprised if those ads earned much more than the cost for hosting the website and the files.

Fair enough. If I was to get one from a place with a good return policy I'd be more willing to try it out and see if the network works. It's a shame Sony doesn't make a US version.

The only flagship phones that have a microSD card slot and a headphone jack that I'm aware of are the Sony Xperia 1 series. I have a Sony Xperia 1 mk III (truly horrible naming scheme there Sony great job) and I absolutely love it. No stylus, but it has all of your other requirements. Headphone jack, micro SD card slot, it's great. The camera on my mk III is so so. If you take the time to fiddle with settings in Sony's pro camera app you can get a great picture out of it but the default settings are just okay.

The Xperia 1 mk VII is the most recent one and a cursory search says it'll work fine on European networks. As for how long it'll last you, I'm using a mk III from 2021 in 2025 and I reckon it'll last me even longer. Sorry to come across as a Sony shill, but I think it's a great phone.

Of course you should check out one of the days of sumo during the January Basho, it's the first time in a little while where there are two active Yokozuna and I will be steaming jealous of you getting to see them compete in person.

Incredible! Medical technology is one of the few sectors of the tech industry that actually seems to be improving life for people. This is a way to use AI technology to actually help the world, compared to other parts of the industry which serve to undermine the credibility of every video on the internet (cough sora 2 cough).

This is very cool, thanks for sharing it.
