I posted another article a back in August about a new small phone that was in the works. The company behind it just launched the kickstarter yesterday. I figured I'd share with this community since some of you all mentioned wanting a small phone.

    Original post from August: https://tildes.net/~tech/1vsm/compact_phone_in_the_works_for_the_fans_of_small_phones

Disclaimer: I am not in any way associated with the company, just a fan of small phones (still using my Pixel 5) and someone who really wants this phone to get made.

That actually looks pretty compelling. If my Motorola Razr didn't already solve the problem of "phone too big for pocket", I might have considered this.

Doesn’t seem that much different than other smaller models available. Maybe 3/4 inch smaller? Always for more choices in the market though.

My assumption has been that the market generally has rejected small phones as a form factor? I’m all for someone taking another stab, but between the failure of attempts from the more mainstream manufacturers and the usual trend for small/enthusiast brands I would worry about this becoming abandonware within a couple of years of launch.
