Tildes Minecraft Survival - Countdown and launch day
New thread - https://tild.es/1hph
Countdown - Server will go live at 4pm Pacific time.
Connect your Minecraft clients to tildes.nore.gg
once the countdown hits 0!
If you didn’t play on our last map you will need to verify your Tildes account to make changes to the map. The website for that is https://verify.tildes.nore.gg - but you’ll have to wait for the server to be up before you can use the form.
Edit: If you would like to donate to support the server we have a Patreon page here
Thanks for doing this, tea!
Even though I’m not joining the server myself, I think it’s awesome that you’re doing this (again) for our community. Kudos.
Aw, thanks!
I've had a few "dream jobs" over the years. One was to run a pizza shop. Another was to run a Minecraft hosting service or just a Minecraft server professionally. But as I got older I realized those jobs are mostly a pain in the ass with thin margins (unless you get lucky and run one of a couple of the massive server networks). So I made a hobby of making pizza and running Minecraft servers instead!
I have to confess I have been very eagerly counting down the days this week. I am so excited to play Minecraft with yall again :)
Same, and I think my posting frequency on Tildes gives it away. I'm glad there isn't a visible metric on my profile that shows how many times I've refreshed the page. 😂
New town center is located at roughly 70, 160.
There are plans for bridges and housing the the cliffs above. There's also a deep dark very nearby.
Also, I'm think villager breeding isn't functioning.
I've got a margarita and my minecraft launcher all ready!
Ah, time zones...
I’m gonna end up being a bit late because of it, but I’m walking to get myself a coffee because launch is 9am Melbourne time. I’m settling in for a good long session today :D
Well I spent most of day one just boating around and exploring, looking for a place to build a homestead. I found a bunch of good spots, including one that's close to proto-town, so I think next session I'll get started on actually building something.
I thought it would be nice to share a picture of where I explored though, in case others were wondering what was out there:
https://i.horizon.pics/usSmo6Ka0H.png
The lands down south, below the expanse of ocean, are jagged cliffs. It was pretty cool boating over there and being met with sheer walls. One spot has tons of hanging berries too. Would be a neat spot to build something.
That's little too late on my end, but I'll be hopping on 100% tomorrow 😄 excited!
For anyone interested in building around the river front, I just completed a road that loops around it from the spawn path and eventually goes back into town: https://www.creesch.com/dump/img/img_6694330e61efe.png
Edit:
Also just finished up cleaning up a lot of the roads in and out of the generated village parts to integrate them better with the various things being build around them. So roads truly leading to nowhere have been removed, others cleaned up, stairs put in and everything is connected with the road network in general.
I'd also like to possibly tear down some of the village buildings. Mostly because I feel like people are building around the village now which creates this odd gapp in the middle with generated buildings. Would love to hear some thoughts about that.
I'm glad to see the Bridge of Shame (at the lower left corner of your road) that @hamstergeddon and I built is getting some use, but please, someone make it prettier. That was the first structure I built in Minecraft in years and it really shows lmao. Needs a glowup
I did clean it up already a tiny bit. I thought it was generated :D
No worries though, this entire road is build not to be pretty but to be functional. It is basically a dirt road with some other bridges that are equally bare bones.
Depending on how the area does develop I'll likely go back at some point and start cleaning it up.
For now I am mostly focussing on getting basic infrastructure in order as to encourage people to walk around and such. I also spent a few hours yesterday just cleaning up the generated roads in the villages as well.
Hey that bridge was a masterpiece!!! That does remind me though that I'd like to find that tunnel I started connecting two river ways. Now that I've got some diamond pickaxes, that should go substantially quicker than it did before with stone tools.
I'm planning to help tidy up the village, there's a few pregen houses that either need to be rebuilt or removed as they're kind of awkwardly placed.
I am mostly in favor of tearing down unless people really want to claim pre-generated houses to "renovate" them. I feel like the "square" next to the crater would be much better suited for player created buildings and houses.
We should tear down and make a new community center.
Edit: Or a courtyard perhaps?
Possibly both, there is plenty of space and next to the crater there already is a big square where I figured people would build fun stuff on eventually.
We should probably start by putting up signs on the village houses we might want to break down asking if people do object.
Got a nether roof portal set up in town (-46, 193). It occurs to me that minecarts now work through portals... upgraded travel network maybe????
Also, there is a pen with free skele horses in town now at (-156, 158)
@Durinthal maybe you'd be interested? Could be a cool way to extend the speed and/or reach of rail/boat networks.
Maybe, I'll have to experiment some to see how that could work.
I'm out traveling so I'll be missing the launch but I'm very excited! Best of luck with the launch and thank you again for organizing this! Do you have a patreon set up for donations by the way? I remember donating some money last time and I'd like to send some more for this launch once I get back.
Check the post! Patreon link is there.
Agh i somehow missed it haha, thanks!
I finally installed Distant Horizons now that it supports shaders. The combination of the two and the Terralith terrain generation is stunning. It's a whole new game!
Right there with you. I'm setting up shop on a flower mountain north of spawn and the view is pretty insane, I think I'm gonna turn it into a watchpoint looking down at the area.
@ThrowdoBaggins and I witnessed the villagers in town make a baby tonight! It was magical. Must have been my delicious tropical potatoes.
I was finally able to get @teaearlgraycold to stop ignoring me and fix the problem.
I upgraded the breeder in town. its now a passive breeder. theyll do all the work to love eachother now as long as folk are in the area keeping it loaded
Fantastic news!
Mazel tov! I assume this means we'll make progress on the communal iron farm and trading hall soon!
I've got some villagers waiting in the trading hall; pretty much just waiting on the auto breeder to spit out some more.
Just did a bunch of work at the trading hall. We now have Mending, Unbreaking 3, Protection 4, Efficiency 5, Feather Falling 4, and a few others available.
MENDING bless
ty so much for this. That awkward period between getting diamond stuff and getting enchants (especially mending) is frustrating. I hate to lose hard-earned tools to something as silly as actually using the tool :D
With help from @Positive, I built two canals connecting rivers so we can get west by boat a bit easier. Here's a handy map:
Edit: I'm on a roll today. I made a third connecting the south side of town to the rivers down there. Map is updated.
Edit2: We have a fourth canal connecting the south part of town to the western river as well!
If anyone's feeling up to prettying up the canals, feel free! I just wanted to get some canals in place ASAP so we could explore easier, without much concern for looks.
https://imgur.com/noDoj5o
Oh as far as exploring goes, the ocean on the north west side links up to the spawn. Something like this, I'll leave it to you to go and fill your own map ;)
I like them regardless of looks! It's the same approach I have been taking with road building as well.
Looking at the canals you already made, I might explore making a fourth one at the yellow marks https://www.creesch.com/dump/img/img_669571c2f2b98.jpg
Or if you take requests, that is also fine ;)
Let's team up, because that's going to be a big undertaking!
I just saw your edit, looks like you pulled it off already! :D
Now I am thinking how boat travel can be expanded even more. If I can find the time today, I might experiment to see if it is possible to make canal locks of some kind for height traversal. That would allow for cool stuff like having a canal go through the villages for example and maybe even up the mountain.
A quick google search seems to indicate it might be possible with soul sand. I also saw a very cool mechanical build of an actual lock with doors, dispensers, etc. But that wouldn't be feasible for an actual transport network.
Someone built a lock-like structure near my base on the last server, so it's definitely possible! Not sure how practical for general use but it was cool.
Turns out it is entirely possible to make one that is practical
We now have a canal going from the river into the village
@hamstergeddon
I thought about doing a lock system, but wasn't sure how it would look. But that looks great! Doing locks would've made the other canal in town substantially easier to implement haha
Can you share that mechanical build you mentioned? I'd love to take a look.
Oef, uhm I found several but didn't save any. Pretty sure this is one I found which looks really good but also is really complex.
I think I also came across this one which I initially figured I'd try but the rambling of a 13 year couldn't hold my attention :P
Oh btw! We now also have a canal going under the village more directly to the northern river and spawn: https://www.creesch.com/dump/img/img_6696bc1283a5a.png
Well it took many an hour, but I finally finished building my house at around -1000, 0. I noticed that a couple hundred blocks south of me, someone built an impressive-looking treehouse in a jungle biome. Does anyone know who that is? I'd like to start work on a path that leads back towards spawn (and civilization), and the tree-house is along the way. Maybe whoever it is can collaborate with me on that.
That would be my treehouse :)
I got as far as making a path down the hill from the treehouse and across the river bordering the jungle with vague ideas to build or link into something heading towards spawn at some point, but I didn't have any real plans as to how. Happy to do a bit of digging and whatnot if you have a route passing nearby that you'd like a hand with.
Howdy neighbor!
The road will mostly likely go south from me and then turn east, passing north of your place. Maybe at some point you can show me how you'd like to enter your place from that east/west part of the road, and we can make a junction. No rush though, there are a few others things I'm trying to get done first.
I had a bit of a hop around there this arvo and I'm thinking something like this seems like it'd work as a general junction idea, that point seems like a logical place for a path heading to your house to cross the river and from there's it's pretty much a straight shot east to the village.
Hey, let me know if you'd like a nether roof portal connection. It would allow a quicker trip to town. :)
If we work from both sides it will go faster.
Already done! I plan to make several AFK farms near me (honeycomb, wool, ice, sugarcane, maybe a bonemeal farm or a tree farm as well) so it was top priority to make my location accessible to everyone.
I made a rough map of the all the canals that have been build that I am aware of: https://www.creesch.com/dump/tildes_waterways.png
The canals are marked in red, in orange I have marked the complete circle tour someone can do and see a lot of awesome landscapes and also some really neat isolated builds.
@hamstergeddon @Positive build the real big ones that connect the rivers up. the one that goes through town is my little project :)
Yay, thanks for doing this!
I'm happy to see my resort on the tour. Everyone is welcome to stop by the Cubic Cabana to relax on the beach or grab a refreshment at the tiki bar. :)
I should add points of interests to my next map! :)
Your beach resort certainly is worth a visit and across the ocean I also spotted a few interesting builds already.
I'm conflicted! I already knew my time was spoken for (new FF14 expansion, new raid tier in two weeks, prep to do) and I originally was going to get a weekend's worth of Minecraft itch out of the way, but seeing some of the projects and map screenshots shared here are really making me want to go exploring and find a nice scenic place to plop a humble home down in...
Did anyone grab and lock maps BTW? It would be neat if we had a before and after map comparison. ooo, maybe a museum?
This might be just what I need to get back in the game! Thanks for doing this
Are we going to get a playtime tracker again?
Yeah I'll set up that extra stuff eventually.
I played MC a long time ago, and have no idea how to join or participate in something like this, does anyone have an ELI5?
Do you own Minecraft?
https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/download - Install Java edition from the launcher.
Just log into your account, click on "Multiplayer" and add a server called "Tildes" with the IP/host set to
tildes.nore.gg
. I think you might have to migrate your account to a Microsoft account if it's been too long since you last played.I never migrated my account, I'll need to figure out how to do that and I'll get back to you, thank you for the instructions!
Sadly the time elapsed last December to migrate your Mojang account... I know that because I had to buy the game new because I didn't migrate in time.
Dang that sucks. Guess I'm stuck buying it again if I want it.
If you have the original purchase email confirmation, get in contact with support and they should be able to sort you out. If you paid for the game already, I really don’t think they should be able to just void your license and make you pay again “just because”
I, too, never migrated my account; not interested in agreeing to MS's terms of service. Any chance that unregistered clients could be allowed for verified Tildes users? I think I remember a server option for that back when I played.
In any case, thanks for running this! Sounds like a lot of fun
What you're referring to is called "offline" mode. There's no built in way to selectively allow unregistered users. I think to have it be secure I'd need to build my own authentication client-side mod and server. Offline mode has players specify their desired username and then that is reported to the server without any validation. Even if it's just for you anyone could claim to be @aradian and sign in as you unless I build my own authentication service.
So I will not put in the work to build that out. You should just check the box on the ToS. There are mods that disable telemetry client side, which is the only negative thing I can imagine Microsoft has added since acquiring Minecraft.
ok, that's totally understandable. I didn't know it worked like that. Thanks for taking the time to reply

Hey, wondering if anyone has an objection to the gamerule "doVinesSpread" being set to false.
I find that vines spread naturally in a very visually unpleasing way, and like to have the freedom to place them individually witout them spreading into a huge mass. There are plenty of ways to farm them outside of the spread mechanic IMO.
That's fine with me
Edit: Done
Another gamerule related one: Is fire tick turned off? That's another one I always turn off first thing to avoid disasters.
I like fire spread. We have Core Protect installed, so any fire damage can be reverted easily.
I'm all for it IF you link me so somewhere that explains how to farm them without the spread mechanic lol...
Farm either tall jungle or mangrove trees. I haven't looked up if there is a more automated method for this, because I usually only need a few hundred vines at a time, and the tall jungle trees spawn with a lot of em.
You can maybe bonemeal them?
Minecraft wiki says vines aren't bone meal-able.
I wish they did work that way. That's how glow lichen functions and it works just fine. Alternatively, they could implement a shear right clicking behavior to stop growth like all the other vines. But nope, we get 3 different vine mechanics. 🤷♂️
Wait, you can’t right click vines to stop growth?!? Wow, that makes no sense, I just assumed they were all updated to the same behaviour!
I'm hoping to make a glass-bottomed viewing platform over the big lush chasm west of town. Hoping to make a bridge to it from each town center on one side and the other side of the chasm on the other (maybe it'll encourage people to spead across that side more)? I'm a bit biased bc it would be a fun way to walk from my place to town tho lol. If anyone has any design ideas or wants to help out (or really hates the location I have planned; I placed signs where I'm thinking of building it) let me know!
I don't have any solid ideas for designs, but already left a sign next to what I assume is your sign agreeing that a platform would be nice :D
I have started building a bit more road infrastructure because of similar reasons. Where are you located exactly? I can at least see about connecting you to various other places.
I'm expanding road and bridge infrastructure from the north, maybe next time we're both online we can see about figuring out how to connect the networks. Right now mine is a bit barebones starting from the berry bushes at spawn but I want to make another pass on it soon and maybe add a few bridges between the cliff faces (there are a few spots that are just begging for one).
Sure! If yours connects to the spawn they are already connected. I have been mostly focussed on the loop I mentioned here and the village roads making sure those actually go somewhere.
I'm right on the edge of that cavern, south/west of the town. Right next to the bamboo farm (which I'm negotiating a path through with the creator lol). I'm hoping later to build a base in the cliff wall overlooking the cavern (the blocks practically frame a spot that would be perfect for a window), but I need to wait until the actually good players get more items for me to mooch off before I attempt that lol.
lol, I know that feeling. That is why I am focussing on infrastructure and other things that I feel do contribute so I can wait for others to do the tedious stuff I personally dislike more :D
My first real attempt to play Minecraft at all was on the previous Tildes server, so my basic skills for things like "finding ore without a farm" and "not getting killed by skeletons/creepers" could definitely stand some improvement. Maybe I'll play singleplayer someday lol
Tbh, playing it alone never had appeal to me. Nobody to really share it with.
I feel like I am somewhere in between a creative and a survival player mostly. I don't mind getting my hands dirty and putting in work, but I simply don't have the mindset for spending hours underground mining like some others seem to enjoy. I also haven't played minecraft outside this server for over a decade, as I also have limited time to spend I can't really learn all the cool tricks. So I am happy to leave a bunch to other people.
Oh yeah this is very relatable to me. I like building fun stuff in a cool environment and exploring, but grinding to get materials is rough.
I think I’m probably what you’d call the grindy type, but for me it’s usually motivated by the desire to automate everything.
“I’d like to be able to enchant my stuff” quickly expanded into “I need heaps of cows in a pit so I can breed them and collect their leather” and “I need an industrial scale wheat farm to supply the cow breeding program” and therefore “I gotta go mining for X redstone, Y iron, Z cobblestone, just to build the wheat farm and cow farm.
So I’ve now got the enchanting setup, and along the way I built a wheat farm, a cow (leather/beef) farm, and iron golem (iron ingots) farm.
I’ve done a whole lot of grinding for resources along the way, for sure, but now that I have this stuff mostly automated, it requires much less attention and just provides the resources I need when I want them.
Next big project for me will probably be finding an ocean monument and making a big XP and Prismarine farm, not sure if I’ll attempt that before or after elytra/shulkers, because hauling large amounts of supplies long distances is always a lot easier with endgame gear
I'm definitely the same type, and I think it's why modded Minecraft clicks with me. So many mods are focused on refining the automation of farming resources.
BTW, have you done anything with the crafter yet? I've been so focused on building projects that I've nearly forgotten the new stuff. 🙂
I’ve made one but haven’t plugged it into anything yet. I think the first place I’ll use it is to attach to my pumpkin+melon farm to automatically craft melon slices into the blocks to sell to the villagers.
I definitely intend to set up a whole bunch of stuff with it (e.g. auto-crafting the various prismarine blocks at the future ocean monument farm) because it feels like it will just save so much time!
Maybe my next project will be an automatic bamboo farm and craft into bamboo blocks? I like that aesthetic a lot, and I could see myself using heaps of it.
My first thought was to use them as compactors for iron and gold farms.
I decided to help out @TBDBITLtrpt13 with some work on the villager trading hall. We now have librarians for Mending, Unbreaking 3, Efficiency 5, Silk Touch, Looting 3, Fortune 3, Feather Falling 4, Protection 4, Depth Strider 3, and Lure 3. Still don't have a great option for getting emeralds, but I did put in a bunch of farmers and a few fletchers too. Might get some villagers to farm carrots for us tomorrow.
<3
As for getting emeralds, can we farm those? Looking at the wiki it seems "illagers" in woodland mansions have them.
Prior to knowing about raid farms, my method was an automated melon/pumpkin farm and selling the output to a dozen or so farmer villagers. I’ve got a small one set up at my remote base, and I estimate I can get probably three stacks of emeralds for each time the chest fills up. So it’s not super fast with just the one module, but it can certainly scale up
My go-to is always either selling stone to masons or sticks to fletchers, since I end up having the most access to those items midgame.
We could also make a string duper and trade with fishermen.
I'll get a string duper running later today. Right now I'm trying to make the most of HotV but once that runs out I'll get that set up.
Raid farms were the way to generate them in the past but they reworked it a little in recent updates. I'm sure there's a new and improved method if not just updated raid farms.
@teaearlgraycold is links being broken in chat something server side you might be able to look into?
It's on my to-do list
To-done!
Tnx!
@teaearlgraycold It's been a week now and people have expanded quite a bit, is it time to turn on the Dynamap? I miss peeking at what people are doing and how the map looks when I'm at work and can't play
IMO it's still a little too early for the dynmap – unless we can limit it to only e.g. 2000x2000 rather than the full terrain. We're still very much exploring the world (or, well, some of us are) and finding rare structures, and I feel like it would kind of ruin exploration if we know where everything is already
But if the possibility of slowly revealing all the chunks exists (e.g. by expanding the dimensions of the dynmap by 1000 blocks every 2 days), then I'd be fine with that
There is this really old reddit post that indicates we could use the command 'worldaddlimit' to achieve what we want. I have never used this command, though, so I have no idea how well it works. I couldn't find any more current docs on it.
Limited to the area around spawn (including town) for now is a good idea if possible, since I'd mostly use it for seeing what people are up to and that's where most folks are congregated for now.
I pre-loaded my Distant Horizons cache for everything from -8000,-8000 to 8000,8000 in the overworld and made a torrent for the database file. Can anyone see if it's able to be downloaded?
magnet:?xt=urn:btih:24a6920568843007de98ab0cbe8f536b4738f696&dn=Distant%20Horizons%20tildes.nore.gg%20overworld&tr=udp%3A%2F%2Ftracker.opentrackr.org%3A1337%2Fannounce&tr=udp%3A%2F%2Fopen.tracker.cl%3A1337%2Fannounce
doesn't seem like it's downloadable. tried downloading it for ~30 min and got nothing.
Having the same problem. But once it's working I'll add it to my seedbox
Okay I switched to seeding from the Minecraft server and I'm able to download it to my computer, so it's working better now. Let me know if that's working for you.
Edit: It randomly stopped working. I think I'll just host it as a web download.
Okay here's the real deal: https://tildes.nore.gg/distant-horizons/overworld/DistantHorizons.sqlite
Edit: Place this in your
.minecraft
folder. The path is.minecraft/Distant_Horizons_server_data/<server name>/overworld
. Back up and remove the.sqlite-shm
and.sqlite-wal
files.Made it to the world border! https://i.imgur.com/uhzgH6I.png
...How do I get back now? Good question.
Can someone remind me of the steps to make the armor stand book?
Get a book and quill, sign the book as "Statues".
I think I must have done something wrong, because my book is empty. I got the book and quill. Right click, click sign. Enter "Statues" (without the quotes), and sign and close. The book gets the glint, but it's empty :/
Hmm, have you tried using it on an armor stand as well?
Just tried again using these instructions linked from the Vanilla Tweaks website with no luck. :(
@teaearlgreycold Can you check settings? The pinned comment on the above video mentions an admin command...
Okay my bad. That should be fixed and work now.
Thanks! All of my previous attempts magically became armor statues books when I joined again. But for some reason the commands aren't working. I tried making an item frame invisible and had no luck. So I tried adding the arms to an armor stand... still nothing. I'm not sure what could be wrong. :/
Might need to make a new book
Update: It was a little slow for me but I got the armor stand to have arms after waiting a bit and coming back. Still no luck getting the invis item frame to go.
Second update: I got the invis item frame to work in my single player world. I just had to stand super close. Will try again next time I'm on the server.
Closing the loop here for anyone following along: I've confirmed that the book works fine on the server. It was just a little particular and required some patience. :)
Any chance we can add a /spawn, a /tpa, and a /sethome?
Nothing too fancy, but enough to reduce the tediousness of travel time
I know that there was a lot of infrastructure to help with travel time on the previous iteration of the Tildes Minecraft server, so I suspect once people have got a bit established and have access to tools etc, that will end up being put in place again.
Personally while I understand the convenience of teleports, I prefer encouraging players to use in-game transportation methods. Nether portals on the roof can provide quick and safe access to each others bases etc, and having a community goal to build and design this infrastructure is one of the reasons I kept coming back even after I had endgame gear.
I think that would discourage most of the big projects we had on the last server - rail lines, roads, nether hubs. Once that infrastructure is built it's not too bad to get around. Plus, soon everyone will have an elytra. I'd be into a datapack that makes minecarts faster to keep them useful.
But if most people want those commands I'll set them up. I'm here to facilitate a good time.
I'm firmly in the no teleport club.
Even in modded, I prefer waystones and the like to be an endgame convenience. When everyone can just teleport to one another the world ends up being a bunch of disconnected bases with little to no travel infrastructure because it's simply unnecessary. Anyone who wants to build giant roads and minecart lines is left with the feeling that most people will rarely ever make use of them.
Would be neat if teleporters needed something rare like a netherite ingot or a diamond block to use. Then even late game alternative transportation would still be viable.
If you mean as a payment for each use I can see that price being high enough but if it's the cost to build one then I think late game that's rather cheap and easy.
Cost to use is what I was thinking. All hypothetical anyway, I don't think they're really necessary.
There's a really fine line. If they are too cheap then it ruins the challenge of exploration. Too expensive and they just don't get used. I personally only use them playing with my kids to make the game more accessible for them. I think with our group it might kill the fun.
I'd rather boost the built-in forms of transportation. We could make Minecarts travel faster. There's a 1.20 mod that did that (link) and many other things.
This would be incredible if it can be done without changing too much. I really like that mod in particular for the simple reason that it makes building rail lines not prohibitively expensive (aka, not requiring a gold farm before being possible for long ranges) while simultaneously giving copper an actual use.
This one works on 1.20 according to the comments, so may also work on 1.21. It's a plugin, so wouldn't require any of the clients to change anything. Might be worth a look.
I wouldn't be opposed to this being added, but if you add it please disable this: "Boats no longer move quickly with ice. This can be changed with the game rule allowIceBoatSpeed." I plan to eventually make an ice boat racetrack.
Although I don't love this either and it doesn't say it can be disabled: "Ice evaporates in the Nether." We wouldn't be able to make ice roads on the roof.
I’d only add the change to minecarts
In the mod, golden rails are essentially as fast as boats on ice, which makes the latter unnecessary in the first place. I personally massively prefer this, as it allows you to be more creative with how you design your transportation line than "a straight line of ice" (and makes thematic sense - I mean, if you think about it, ice in the nether doesn't really add up).
Agreed about boats on ice in general though, I would re-enable it if we go this route.
Yeah I prefer rails if they can get up to that speed but no harm in allowing both (boats on ice are a classic after all).
And apparently purpur has a built in setting for minecart speed? I've been wanting to try out purpur. It has some crazy options.
Edit: The reason I haven't tried it yet is precisely because it has an overwhelming set of options. Def not an easy drop in replacement for paper, so I'm not really seriously suggesting it. (at least not without a lot of testing)
What is a teleporter?
Talking about mods which add teleporters or waystones. They arent official.
Are there any farm projects that I could take on this weekend, or other wise be of assistance? Work on my resort is slowing a bit, and I'd like to make myself useful. :)
I don't think we have a bonemeal farm yet. :D
Cool, I'm on it. I've never built a bonemeal farm before so this will be a fun new experience.
I’m not sure if our timezones line up, but I wouldn’t mind getting some help on building an ocean monument/guardian farm?
I’ll have to get myself shulkers and elytra tomorrow morning (Australia time) but after that, it will mostly just be a case of collecting a bunch of soul sand, glass, and scaffolding.
Oh, and then finding a monument that’s far enough away from anyone else’s base to safely establish the nether portal links without accidentally flooding someone’s house with guardians.
I can for sure start working on some collection of materials. I have a bunch of bamboo left over from my builds, so I could start getting scaffolding. I also have a heart of the sea and a few nautilus shells. Once I get enough we could make a conduit and take on the elder guardians in easy mode :)
Just curious: is it possible to join from a bedrock/console account?
They tried that last time and I think it was super buggy. So I'm not sure if its implemented again
No
