As far as I can tell, there are no themes for Tildes that are friendly to those with color blindness. I believe that an accessibility centered theme would be a great addition to Tildes. The main areas in which I think that colors can be confused are in the accents. One example of this that I have found is the distinction between the bar that appears next to comments that are posted from your own account, and comments that have received an exemplary label. Here is an image showing how similar the colors are.

I think that a copy of the white theme could be made using slightly different tones and shades of colors. In other terms, this could be called a "High Contrast" theme, and could be entered in as such.

I do not believe this would be too challenging a project, as the most difficult part would be figuring out which colors to use with the css, and I would gladly take it up myself, but I am busy with exams for a while. If someone else could take this project up and do it, I would appreciate it. If not, I will do it once I get some free time.

If someone with a form of color blindness could put in their point of view towards this subject, it would be greatly appreciated.

      Some suggested alternatives:

      • Increment
      • Boost
      • Bump
      • Rise
      • Hike

      Anyone else have any ideas?
