    1. Do you have an anime that serves as your guilty pleasure?

Do you have a show that you secretly enjoy, but wouldn't speak about it openly? Perhaps it's terrible and ridiculous, but you love it anyway. I have a buddy who has loved SAO since its first...

I have a buddy who has loved SAO since its first season. He knows it kinda sucks, but it makes him happy and imo that's great.

It would be Detective Conan for me. The quality these days is horrible, but I get a kick from watching them anyway- even though you can predict the culprit 00000.1 seconds into the episode.

And I know this is ~anime, but I'd also like to see ones that aren't limited to anime. Let us know!

This week let's share some of those favorite tracks that you don't usually advertise to other people - the guilty pleasures. The ones that tend to make music critics and other music lovers cringe, and garner raised eyebrows from your friends and family. We've all got them hiding in our playlists.

Thanks @ainar-g for the topic suggestion. Feel free to suggest topics for upcoming threads in the comments, and happy listening. :)

Last week's thread on uplifting earworms.

    5. Guilty TV pleasures?

I like Bar Rescue. There's some ridiculous tv dramatization, a smidge of education (how service businesses work), and I can google what happens a year after the show airs (they all seem to close)....

I like Bar Rescue. There's some ridiculous tv dramatization, a smidge of education (how service businesses work), and I can google what happens a year after the show airs (they all seem to close). Plus when I go to bars I feel like I can point out what they're doing wrong.

What are everyone's favorite "Guilty Pleasures" when it comes to film? You know, those movies that you love, but if someone asks you which movies you're into, the ones you don't necessarily admit to until you trust or really like the person. Here are a few of mine:

      • The Fast and the Furious franchise, especially Tokyo Drift.
      • Titanic
      • Mean Girls. I don't know if I can count this one since it seems to waiver between guilty pleasure and cult classic depending on whom you ask.
