What music would you want to listen to going into a war?

Doesn't necessarily have to be war, could be a fist fight, music for killing demons, etc. Anything that makes you feel like a badass.

It's cheesy as hell but Hells Bells by AC/DC has gotta be top of my list.

      My wife introduced me to Sabaton, it is indeed the perfect battle music! Feuerschwanz is also pretty awesome. I'd probably mix this excellent metal cover of Abba in, too.

      I mean I guess it doesn't have to make you feel like a badass. Makes you feel however you want to feel before some physical aggression where you may or may not die.

    • Elephants - Warpaint All female group that deserves more attention and the beat of the song honestly makes me think of a large entity incoming.
    • The HARDKISS Ukrainian group who sings in both English and Ukrainian, but the female lead has an incredible voice. Focuses on the idea of the end goal of war resulting in a celebratory thing to desire for in vicotry.

    For something in another language, I've been listening to a lot of Ukrainian music due to the invasion. It's heartbreaking that tragedy inspires creativity, but some of these songs are something else.

And something about the music's intensity mirrored the intensity of the experience and made me feel better. Can't really explain how that works, but now I always listen to High on Fire during takeoffs and landings if I'm feeling anxious. Perhaps war would be the same.
