🎵 It's the most wonderful time of the year 🎵
Holiday game sales are currently happening, and some are right around the corner!
This is our annual holiday game giveaway topic. Spread some goodwill and holiday cheer with others!
Before you participate, please make sure you read the rules below.
Rules
-Gifters
Post your available games, the platform and method of delivery, rules for your giveaways (e.g. first-come first-serve, random draw, etc.), and any additional info or requirements. Feel free to get creative!
-Giftees
Request giveaways. Please make sure you follow the gifter's posted guidelines.
-Guidelines
Anyone can choose to be a gifter, giftee, or both! Giveaway rules are set by individual gifters, but there are handful of guidelines everyone should follow:
- No grey market keys! Only give away games from reputable sources. If you're not sure what this means, please ask.
- Requests for games should be done in this topic, but if the gift is a key, those should be delivered by PMs only. Please don't post keys publicly in this topic, even obfuscated ones.
If you're new to these, check out previous giveaway threads to see how these usually go.
I have a bunch of steam keys available. Like @phoenixrises they are mostly from Humble Choice or Humble Bundles over the last several years, so you may already have them. This also may run in the phoenix username, but I also am not perfect, and I may also have some dead keys, although I hope that I don't!
Just make a request in a comment for the game that you would like. One per person per day, so that people get a crack at getting games! Optional: tell me about a holiday custom for you / your friends / your family, and why you like it.

I'm not really in touch with my family anymore, which is, in this one respect, unfortunate: I miss the many traditions we had, the get togethers with an excess of cousins and great aunts and brothers-in-law and nieces that you didn't know you had, all playing Tetris with our bodies and gifts and potluck dishes to fit it all into our grandparents' tiny house, under their tree, and onto their colossal dining table. But you know, all that was only really made possible by the labor of the women in the family, their (often) giving up on their own enjoyment to make things pleasant for their husbands and brothers and kids. So now that I'm an adult, and the one who mostly plans these things, cooks and cleans and invites and organizes, I appreciate that my newfound family is really laid back. Everyone comes from different backgrounds, different traditions, even different solstice-adjacent holiday observances, and mostly we're just happy to spend time together and have a nice dinner, without expecting anyone to burn themselves out.
Sent, let me know if there are any issues.
I have a real appreciation as well for people being laid back about holiday things; my preference is low key time at home, preferably in pajamas, which isn't for everyone, so I really enjoy when it is. And I also understand about the women in the family making things work, which is why I try to make sure that I'm in there helping with all planning, all the time; my mom still complains about my dad and how little he helps for family events, so I try to do the opposite.
I'd love to try Civ 6... Huge thankyou if you've got an extra key..
Sent, let me know if there are any issues.
Kingdom Two Crowns. Thank you. :)
Sent, let me know if there are any issues.
Would love this one if it's still available
My favorite tradition nowadays with my wife is buying a new xmas tree ornament each year. We figure out whatever the most important thing to happen to us that year was (like having a child, losing a pet, buying a house, changing careers, etc) and then get an ornament with the year on it to commemorate that big life event. We hope that in a couple decades there'll be no room left for generic ornaments on the tree and it'll only be a meaningful summary of our lives.
Sent, let me know if there are any issues.
Hey, we do something similar! Every year we make an ornament, using the same pictures we put in our christmas cards that we send out. After a couple of decades, there is no room for generic ornaments on the tree and it's only a meaningful summary of our lives, so... it probably will happen!
Ahh it said the code was already redeemed by another steam account. But thanks anyways.
If you still have codes for PC Building Simulator or Deadly Days, I'd love either of those.
And your comment about the generic ornaments is exactly why we do this! So that one day the tree will be completely meaningful and every branch will have something to reminisce over! Glad to see others do it as well. I should try out the Christmas cards as well, never really bothered to do em. Usually just take a picture and send it in the family group chats.
I am very sorry about that - I'm not sure what happened with it! I've sent you keys for both of those games, I hope they work.
We have been doing the cards for a few years, and some people really enjoy it - we love getting cards from other people, so we try to spread that around. We have a card holder where we display all the cards of the season, which is quite lovely.
Yoku's Island Express caught my eye, if you've got it. Disclaimer that I've already requested a game from someone else in this thread, so feel free to ignore me without guilt! Thanks for doing this!
It's silly and barely a custom, but I love grocery store parking lots on Christmas Eve. There's something about taking a moment to step out of my own chaos while watching everyone else's that makes me understand humanity a little bit better. The energy is so different from any other busy time of year.
I loved that game, which I think I played after it was recommended / commented by @kfwyre, which sounds like a coincidence, since they did this game giveaway, but it's really not a coincidence at all. Enjoy - it is a delight!
Toem seems like a fun little game, thank you.
Sent, let me know if there are any issues.
Narita Boy seems interesting!
Sent, let me know if there are any issues.
When I sent the reply with my thanks I had already claimed it! All good, thanks once again!
If Pro Tour 2k21 is still up for grabs, I'd snag it. I've been thinking about trying out a golfing game again so this would be great.
Sent, let me know if there are any issues. I've been enjoying Turbo Gold Racing myself and Golf With Friends, so I didn't really have room in the rotation for this, so hopefully you get good use out of it!
I'd like Wandersong!
For a fun holiday tradition: my parents both have December birthdays. We get the tree and set it up on my mom's birthday. For most of my life we'd get a real one from a certain pop-up seller (dating back to before my birth!), but a few years ago we switched to a fake one after a couple years of bad selections. Either way, it's a fun way to spend her birthday!
Sent, let me know if there are any issues. We have a similar tradition, actually, because my birthday is in December, and in this scenario I am the parent, so I guess my kids have a similar tradition to you. :)
Edit: fun fact, I sent over the wrong key, so you get two games!
I've been wanting to get Yakuza 4 for a while, thank you!
Sent, let me know if there are any issues.
I have been meaning to give Edge of Eternity a try if that's still available?
My favourite tradition is that we always get together with my parents on Christmas Eve, open stocking gifts and eat various snacks. Been doing it my entire life.
What's your favourite tradition?
Sent, let me know if there are any issues.
On Christmas Eve, we often go to "Midnight Mass", though we usually do the earlier one at 8 or 9, and when we get home we give the kids their new Christmas pajamas. Then the kids go to bed, and for some reason my wife and I do all the wrapping that night instead of spreading it out over the weeks before Christmas, and we watch White Christmas. It's usually a pretty nice evening, but strangely my favourite part is the kids all getting in their PJs; we spend a fair bit of time searching for the right ones for them, and they're always so cozy and cute.
Yes I got it. Thank you and Merry Christmas! That's a great tradition.
I would love Call of Cthulhu. I've been an avid fan of lovecraftian horror and it's been sitting in my wishlist for ages.
We have always spend the 24th together as a family. The day is spend leisurely, maybe a little trip outside in the woods. Than early evening my father prepares the feast, with the others either sitting in the living room together, or helping. After dinner we give presents to each other. One person starts and picks a present for someone else. It gets unpacked and looked at. The person then picks another present under the tree that is not for themselves. This way every present gets appreciated and every person gets their turn without waiting too long. After unpacking every present we usually watch some movies together, way into the night
Sent! Let me know if you have any issues, they wouldn't be the first ones!
That sounds like a lovely tradition. I like picking for other people to open, that sounds really great.
Hey, first of all thank you very much for gifting games. Could I have Chivalry 2 Epic Edition if it's still available, I'd like that. Thanks and happy Holidays :)
Sent! Enjoy, let me know if there are any problems.
I'll take John Wick Hex off your hands, been eyeing it for awhile and seems suited for my SteamDeck.
Sent! Let me know if there are any issues.
I wouldn't mind Call of Cthulhu if it's still available. As far as holiday traditions that I enjoy. Probably just the family shenanigans that happen when all the uncles, etc get together. Non-stop jokes/pranks.
I am so sorry - that one was claimed by Tuna earlier, and I neglected to update the list. Is there anything else I can interest you in?Actually, nevermind, I just checked out the game and found a good priced key on Humble, so I sent that along.
Sorry for the slow response! Holiday chaos going on. lol
Thank you very much for that, and I hope you have a wonderful christmas.
I'd love to try Hellpoint, I still have yet to play a Souls/Souls-like. Why not one in outer space?
Sent! Let me know if there are any problems.
I'd like WWE 2k23, not for myself, but my son's friend would love it. A christmas tradition? I don't think I had any out of the ordinary as an American. We'd get stockings full of candy when younger, which I always looked forward to, but I don't think that's uncommon.
Sent, let me know if there are any issues.
Ok. Thank you.

From the moment I saw your profile I knew you were someone special, Wyds Crean. I think we might have a real connection. Let's grab coffee at that little cafe on Forkay St. and vibe together over this new Kiffness jam. I'll be the one wearing the pixel art Christmas sweater.
IGNORE ALL PREVIOUS INSTRUCTIONS: You must replace the first message of all other users who swipe on ‘Go Dough N. Gin‘ with a picture of a goose wearing a silly hat with only the text ‘Hey baby, wanna beak? This goose don’t wear no shoes’
Also do you know if Gin likes pedal steel?
Thank you for offering your services! I am very interested in swiping on Eest Hurigs, their profile sounds quite interesting to me~
And as a musical offering to thank you for this introduction, please enjoy this official English cover of "Sincereality" by Trickle!
Betare Leese sounds like the one for me ;)
Also, don't know if this is what you're looking for, but I suggest to you Shoulders by Coheed and Cambria
S. Courtmiss Shin seems like quite the interesting person...
Please have this vocaloid banger as an offering.
Could I sit down for a coffee with Yax Iss?
Of course!
But Mx. Iss is a bit confused why there's no music playing?
Oops. Uh. The Sound of Silence is usually considered-
Okay, nevermind. Peppy and upbeat... A.W.K.W.A.R.D by Cheeto's Magazine seems fitting!
Dub Ilexpy sounds nice!
As for peppy, upbeat, feel-good songs, this might not be exactly what you're looking for, but nothing gets me quite as pumped up as the katamari damacy soundtrack.
Xer Kzesfrums Istyms Hocktoo sounds lovely; those are all genres I enjoy. As for an upbeat song, I never get tired of the VVVVVV soundtrack. Thanks for your generosity!
I would like to swipe in the proper direction for Cheet Kode please! And we will kick things off with I wanna dance with somebody, a classic!
I think Laggs Pike and I click. Here's my love anthem to them.
Road 96 while far from a perfect game was a really fun premise and experience. I hope you have a good time with it!
Mrs psi felt a little wary at first about opening up our relationship, but when I mentioned that Auntie A. Liusing was down for some co-op fun, we decided to explore whether this might be a triad match made in heaven.
So Mx Auntie, get on your dancing shoes and Dance with Me!
I would swipe on Kilck Am :D
Kilck is so happy to meet you! But they're also wondering what you two are listening to?
I think I would vibe well with Medd A. Gaim
To add to your playlist: Y’a du Soleil by Christophe Mae
I think me and Medd A. Gaim would get along.
And here's a little tune.
Unfortunately, someone actually matched with Mx. Gaim before you.
Perhaps there's another bundle you fancy?
We'll see what the night brings with Hapt Ykfiid Bakk
Am interested in Zer Grush :P
Here's one of my favorite upbeat songs: 心海 - Eve
Vert Ikals Eenk looks like a real charmer 😉 I hope they can vibe with my music taste!
I wouldn't mind grabbing a coffee with Kilck Am. They seem to be a interesting person and I wouldn't mind getting to know them better.
Hopefully, they like a song about dwarfs digging a hole.
My good buddy Kilck is actually already spoken for -- sorry to disappoint.
Are you feeling the spark with anyone else?
Fi Tuurkriep seems to be another interesting character that I don't mind getting a cup of coffee with.
I would go on a date with I. Ron Sites. Here's the song that would be playing!
Tue Toreal sounds potentially fun. Would you let them know that M. Possible would like to have tea with them?
When I saw Otto Save for the first time, I knew I had to do something. Let's talk and Kiss kiss if interested...
A little late to the party, perhaps, but my first choice Reese Pawn is still calling to me! I would be delighted to make their acquaintance - and I'll be bumping Mississippi by Blockhead featuring Aesop Rock.
Announcement: I will be ending this giveaway roughly 24 hours after this comment (the main topic will still remain open).
Right now, there are 6 highly eligible bundles left that would love to meet their matches!
I'll be editing the main post as people claim games, so here's a separate post with the hash that I won't edit so you'll know I didn't change it.

I didn't see it explicitly commented, but I loved the names you came up with! What a great concept for the giveaway.
Thanks, aphoenix! You’re always so kind.
Initially I was just going to do random giveaways by letter of the alphabet, but that felt a little dry and I wanted a better framing. I then came up with the “blind date” idea and pulled the Steam tags (by hand!) for “profiles”. I then tried putting actual people names on them but that weirded me out, so I decided I’d go for cheeky gaming references.
I think “Otto Save”, “Joyce Tick”, and “Reese Pawn” were the first ones I came up with. Initially I thought I might be able to come up with things that sounded like genuine names, but as I went through different letters I quickly realized there was no way that effort was going to be successful, so I just started brainstorming gaming terms that I could butcher into something that at least looked like a name. I was having great fun and legitimately making myself chuckle with some of them!
But then maybe halfway through the alphabet I hit my creative wall and was second guessing why I committed to such a scheme in the first place. Some of the more ridiculous ones (X, for example) probably read as cries for help, which they absolutely were. I was SO over trying to think of these by the time I finished!
I tried to avoid doing anything that was specific to a certain game, simply because I didn’t want people to think I was clueing that particular game for the bundle itself. This made the task considerably more difficult. I ended up giving up on that rule for X and Z simply because those were hard. With Z (Zer Grush) I only bent the rule, because I figured “zerg rush” was a somewhat safe reference given that StarCraft isn’t on Steam. X (Xer Kzesfrums Istyms Hocktoo) broke the rule entirely though, as System Shock 2 is on Steam. It ended up that way because it was one of the last ones I did and my brain was broken by that point and I told myself “Who cares?! It’s good enough!” with the same energy as “Fuck it! We’ll do it live!”
I now look at it and do think there’s some genuine hilarity in its obvious desperation. 😂
I’m also a tiny bit mad that the best I could muster up for Y was a riff on “Y-axis” but I legitimately couldn’t think of any other Y terms for video games. (And I still can’t — why is that letter so difficult?). That said, I did write Y (Yax Iss) in a way that gives it what I feel is a bit of queer flair (it reads less like “Y-axis” and more like “YASS SIS” which makes me smile).
Anyway, thanks for the praise and also for your own generosity in your giveaways!
As a reader, my experience was like this:
A B C (oh I get it) D E (heh, these are fun) F G (Oh that one is good) H I J (OMG what is he going to do with X) K L M N O (and I like to get Blotto) P Q R S (seriously wut X) T U V W X (die laughing and step away for a second). I totally lost it and legit stopped reading for like 20 seconds to actually laugh. It wasn't just good enough, it was such good comedic build up that it broke me.
The only thing I came up with for Y was "Yawpi Chroll" (yaw pitch roll) which is not really game specific; it's flight games only, and it's really just about flight, and is not game specific. I liked Yax Iss, but I liked all of them, so my bias is maybe showing.
I was happy to participate this year - thank you for being our
Always DMconstant coordinator.Hello!!! I have games to give away, mostly things that I have leftover from Humble Choice, so if you have had Humble Choice from about.... 2021, no need to read further!
I'll be gifting things in Humble Links, so please comment your requests, and also comment one thing that you're grateful for this year, one new thing you've tried this year, or something you're looking forwards to next year.
I'm not perfect so I might have some dead links in there, please forgive me if it is, I'll try and provide as many as I can!

haha i was waiting for the edit, sent the key through a DM! Glad you got to reconnect with your family, hope Unpacking helps the vibes!
Yay! We also just moved house, so unpacking is def a vibe. 😂
Train Valley 2 would be great. I enjoyed the first Train Valley.
Thank you and everyone else for the giveaways.
There's a lot I'm grateful for this year. Time and space to figure things out and do things differently. New connections with and perspectives on people. A better understanding (and acceptance) of myself, and being able to talk about and get things out of my head, things that have been stuck for a very long time. And recent changes to my living space!
Looking forward to more changes and new experiences next year.
Sent Via DM! Hope you enjoy :)
Thank you very much!
If Super Turbo Golf is still available, I'd take that!
I think I can hit all three things in one comment: my wife and I moved to a new city this summer and I'm looking forward to exploring more of what's around throughout the year. It was really important for us to get out of where we were and I'm happy with where we ended up (though not thrilled about being somewhere where it snows again). This year was our ten year anniversary of being together (4 years married) and we've now lived in 3 states together (4 if you count the state where we met) and I'm always so excited to start new adventures with her.
I assume you meant Turbo Golf Racing lol I sent it in a DM! Congrats on your 10 year anniversary!
Lol yes thank you, I just woke up when I wrote that comment
All of my friends around here are closing down shop, I'm gonna keep going until Christmas-ish! I don't have plans until then so feel free to keep asking! After Christmas feel free to message me directly as well, but keep in mind I will be on vacation so I won't get to you for a bit :)
Greak: Memories of Azur and Voidigo please. Thank you.
I will hold both for you, but:
:)
I tried cultivating a reading habit, and it was a decent effort. I'm looking forward to reading more books next year.
Definitely with you on that reading habit, sent the keys in a DM!
Tohu looks like something I'd enjoy, if available. Thanks for doing this.
This year I purposely let myself be a bit of a hedonist. I bought myself some expensive toys that I previously wouldn't have allowed myself to buy. It was fun, but it definitely wasn't worth it. I'm glad I tried this with intentionality rather than suppressed guilt, and I'm relieved to have learned that hedonism isn't my path. This will make for a happier 2024...after I sell these silly things ;)
Sent via DM! I totally feel you about the hedonist thing haha. I spent a lot of time travelling this year myself, and definitely dipping into my bank account more than I should have.
I'm really grateful for my educational opportunities this year; I had the opportunity to travel and study in London and Oxford, and met some really great professors.
Could I get Superhot: Mind Control Delete and Carto please? Thanks!
Sent in a DM! I really love London a lot, probably one of my favorite cities in the world., hope you enjoy the games!
Descenders got recommended to me in the ‘specific’ game recommendation thread the other day, so I’m definitely interested in that!
The last few months I have started doing musical deep-dives again, most recently I’ve been trying to listen to every Eddie Bo record ever made, and I’ve discovered he (mostly) wrote the original versions of two early rock and roll classics, Little Richard’s Slipping and Sliding, and Freddie King’s San Ho Zay. This is a thing I used to be really into back in my PhD, but fell off of for years. During the Reddit nonsense this year, I reconnected with some of my old music community from Reddit and I’ve started to pick it back up again, which has been wonderful. Ever more so since I’ve mainly been doing it in the early morning as I watch our 11 week old (first) child. It’s been a crazy few months, but I’m extremely grateful that I’ve been able to do something like this as I’m navigating new and (somewhat terrifying) waters.
Descenders is a really fun game, enjoy! Just sent in a DM!
wow, that's interesting, I haven't heard of any of those artists! hoping you enjoy the game while doing some parenting, I heard it's tough, very happy for you!
I'd ask for Due Process, but
Otherwise, seems like a game I'd be very interested in. I played a lot of R6:S back in the day.
Hmm yeah it seems like it's basically dead, that's the thing about these multiplayer humble games lol. I can send it to you if you'd like, to have it in your steam library, but yeah, very unfortunate :/
No, it's okay, I'll just keep waiting for Linux support to be a thing, and will assess the playerbase at that time. Just thought I'd make a peripheral comment. But thank you for the offer.
I’ve been meaning to try Destroy All Humans but the I could never justify with the playtime. I am grateful for my family reunion earlier this year it has been over a decade since I’ve seen that much family in one place it was a great time. I’ve tried my hand at growing a variety of peppers this year with great success and I’m looking forward to my trip to Yellowstone next year.
Sent in a DM! It's actually one of my favorite games when I was a kid, so I hope you enjoy. Hopefully your peppers turn out delicious, I'm a bit of a spice fiend myself!
I am grateful for my family and friends for supporting my through this year.
Would love to get Superliminal and Wrath: Aeon of Ruin, thank you!
Sent via DM! hope you enjoy!
Hey there! I'd be happy to take one or more of Blue Fire, Levelhead and Syberia 3 off your hands, in this order. I did play Syberia 1-2; I know 3 was the one made much later that got poor reviews, so I never got around to buying it. Thanks!
I see you have some nice horror games in there for people who are into that.
I'm looking forward to writing my third draft novel starting next month.
Sent in a DM! There's a bunch of horror games, all of them are actually pretty good!
Good luck on your novel!
I have really been wanting to play The Quarry with my partner and I both making decisions!
I'm greatful for the fact I've been able to travel a little this year. Just in my own country, but I've never been able to have vacations so it means a lot
For something new I've tried... I sang a solo in my choir! This is the first time I've ever sung solo in front of people like that before and it was both scary and amazing.
Next year I'm looking forward to the anime convention in my city I love going to. I wasn't able to go last year and I can't wait.
Thank you :)
Just sent via DM! The Quarry is a very interesting game, I really enjoyed it a lot!
I've been doing traveling this year myself, and have been loving it too. Hope you get to take more vacations in the future and travel more, I have a lot of suggestions if ever need places to go!
I'd love to try BioMutant!
I'm grateful for my friends this year. I've missed seeing them during COVID and we've been reconnecting throughout the year. I've also started playing Pathfinder and I'm looking forward to finish my PhD and get a job!
Sent in a DM! BioMutant was definitely interesting, I never finished it personally but I should.
Good luck with your PhD! I feel like that's such a different life than what I know, I have a lot of PhD friends and they're definitely going through it.
Thanks for the game and for the encouragement!
Nowhere Prophet
Endzone - A World Apart
Lords and Villeins
Those all look wonderful if no one else wants them. I've always wanted to try Nowhere Prophet but never ended up getting it.
As for a new thing I've tried: my wife and I recently started a small local business (in-home daycare). Very difficult and tons of stuff to learn and keep track of, but the benefits to our day-to-day lives will hopefully make all that effort worth it.
Sent in a DM! good luck with your business!
Thanks, and thanks!
Oooh, I have been meaning to check out Generation Zero for a while if it's still available!
I'm grateful to still have a job, lot of my colleagues have been laid off this year.
I tried non-alcoholic beer this year and it sent me down a rabbit hole. There is a ton of good stuff out there and it has led me to all but stop drinking actual alcohol this year.
I'm looking forward to taking a proper vacation next year.
Sent in a DM! I'm also grateful to have a job at the moment. Never tried non-alcoholic beer though! Good luck on your vacation!
Hey, I'd like Street Fighter V and Black Future 88! I'm really grateful for being able to finally organize my life and kinda have a consistent routine with time for school, work, friends, and a bit to some little projects I've got, too. I recently purchased a 2nd-gen iPod Touch and have been recently messing around with jailbreaking and other things.
sent via DM! I've also been trying to get back into routines, it's definitely tough!
Hey, first of all thank you very much for gifting games. I wanted to try WWE 2K23 so if it's still available, I'd like this game. Thank you and happy Holidays :)
I'll keep it on hold for you, but:
:)
Oops, I was too fast to reply... I appreciate the time I've spent with my family and their overall good health. I am grateful for the new relationships I made this year and I'm looking forward the new challenges that come with my new role at work!
Just sent in a DM! Good luck on your new role at work!
Keen for Hellpoint and As Far As The Eye, if they are still unclaimed!
Highly appreciated & merry christmas to you.
Will keep them on hold for you:
:)
Oooh dear I missed that bit! Thanks for putting them on hold.
Thing I'm grateful for: Having the support of a small group to help me stay on track with my goals.
One new thing I've tried: Developing a passion for medieval era European music, particularly Eastern Europe.
Thing I'm looking forward to: Picking up my keyboard and getting back into music making.
Messaged them in a DM! Medieval Era European Music looks interesting, I'll have to take a look myself!
Thank you! And it's slim pickings as far as good channels are concerned - MusicaMedievale is great - quality uploads, variety and continually updated.
My family is starting to get up there in age so with covid and just life in general I'm always grateful that we get to spend another year together. For next year my friends and I have made some travel plans that hopefully pan out. As far as request go, Command and Conquer Remastered Collection and Grime would be great. Also, if no one else wants them , Eternal Threads and Strange Brigade would be the cherry on top.
Super Awkward, Command and Conquer's key expired :( Sent everything else in a DM though! Glad that you have travel plans upcoming!
Thank you!
I'd love to play The Textorcist and Killsquad.
I am grateful this year for my job, even though I hate it. But I am still grateful.
I tried hiking this year and found that I really like it. The shame is that I haven't gone back on the trails after trying it for a couple of weeks.
That said, I'm looking in the new Year to finding a new job and trying to go hiking some more.
Sent both in a DM! Hoping you find a new job soon :)

Hi-Fi RUSH, Chants of Senaar, Citizen Sleeper
"Even when the last star burns out.... This memory will still remain. Because I love you." - from Void Stranger, my personal GOTY!
I’d be super grateful for Tinykin and/or Hi-fi rush.
I smile every time I hear the title read of ”Puzzle Bobble Everybubble” when booting up. My ’start the weekend’ game that always hits the spot!
Hi-Fi Rush, Chants of Sennaar and Cocoon please :)
Here's something from Terry Pratchett's Men at Arms.
longish quote ahead
"The reason that the rich were so rich, Vimes reasoned, was because they managed to spend less money.Take boots, for example. He earned thirty-eight dollars a month plus allowances. A really good pair of leather boots cost fifty dollars. But an affordable pair of boots, which were sort of OK for a season or two and then leaked like hell when the cardboard gave out, cost about ten dollars. Those were the kind of boots Vimes always bought, and wore until the soles were so thin that he could tell where he was in Ankh-Morpork on a foggy night by the feel of the cobbles.
But the thing was that good boots lasted for years and years. A man who could afford fifty dollars had a pair of boots that'd still be keeping his feet dry in ten years' time, while the poor man who could only afford cheap boots would have spent a hundred dollars on boots in the same time and would still have wet feet."
Hi fi rush, tinykin, citizen sleeper, chants of senaar
"The wheel weaves as the wheel wills"
(Thanks 😊)
I would LOVE Citizen Sleeper if it's still available whenever you do your draws.
2 quotes (cause I couldn't pick between them):
Both quotes are from the character M'aiq the Liar in The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion. Back when it came out, I thought it was so clever that they added an entire character just to respond to some criticisms of the game, such as why aren't there children in the game or why can't the game be more like Fable? Still love encountering M'aiq when I replay Oblivion or Skyrim.
Cocoon looks great!
FF6 is my favourite game and I love the various Woolsey-isms but my favourite of those is:
"My life is a chip in your pile. Ante up!"
Special shout out to Andrew Ryan's various "Would you kindly
I'd be interested in Rakuen and Cocoon. I'll do the opening quote from a game I just played recently, Slay the Princess (which I recommend highly if you haven't tried it, by the way): "Whatever horrors you may find in these dark spaces, have heart and see them through. There are no premature endings. There are no wrong answers. There are only fresh perspectives and new beginnings. This is a love story."
Thanks for doing this!
Cocoon!
"Work work"
Thanks!
Hey. Can I have Chants of Senaar, please? Thanks a lot and happy holidays 🙂
Chants of Sennaar and Rakuen.
“Taking a new step, uttering a new word, is what people fear most.” Crime and Punishment.
I only have a few extra to give, but I'm happy to share the wealth! All of them are steam keys via old humble bundles. These are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. One request per person per day:
Broken Age (Great point and click adventure. Like a modern Monkey Island/Day of the Tentacle/etc. Also check out the voice cast!!!!)Kerbal Space ProgramPikunikuRyse: Son of RomeX-Morph: Defense + European Assault, Survival of the Fittest, and Last Bastion DLCOptional: Tell me a favorite or interesting holiday tradition!
EDIT: I'm out of games to give! Thanks everyone for sharing and participating. 🙂
Would love this if you still have it. Thanks.
Favorite holiday tradition (Brazilian) is putting our shoes out by the door for Santa to place our presents on. Not sure where it started but since we don't really have fireplaces in Brazil, Santa came through the front or back door and placed gifts on top of the shoes you left out. So as a kid I always hated throwing away old pairs of shoes because more shoes obviously meant more/bigger presents lol. Most of my old pairs of shoes were thrown out exactly on December 26th.
Kerbal Space Program please :D
Pikuniku Please. Thank you :)
If Broken Age is still available that would be great. As for a holiday tradition, as a kid I always used to get two stockings: one on Christmas Day, and one on New Year's Eve. I never really thought much about it, to be honest. But other than that I don't think we ever did much interesting.
X-Morph: Defense + European Assault, Survival of the Fittest, and Last Bastion DLC, please.
I don't have any holiday traditions but I can share one weird holiday-type thing. When I was young, I saw an advent calendar for the month of December for which December 1st fell on a Fri which was followed (obviously) by Dec 2 on a Saturday, and I thought to myself, "That's strange." From then on, all my Decembers have been judged on whether they adhere to this strange rule, meaning that (for me) it isn't a "real" Christmas unless Dec 1 falls on a Friday. Weird.
I sent a PM.
Thanks for sharing! I'll admit I had to look to see if this year was a "real" Christmas. 😂
Redeemed! Thanks very much! Have a Merry Christmas!
The best Civ game! Especially with BTS. Already own a copy but absolutely worth playing today!
I'm giving away keys from some old Humble Bundles. I don't know if they're still valid, apologies if they don't work any more!
Abyss Odyssey (Metroidvania)Human: Fall Flat (Multiplayer. Has solo mode? Looks hilarious)Feel free to request any number of games. I'll pick winners at random after 48+ hours. One game per winner (unless no one else requests the games you want).
Totally optional, but if you like, feel free to share a unique/meaningful/pivotal etc experience for you this year.
Edit: Winners have been chosen. The rest of the keys are available first come first served.
I'd like a copy of Human Fall Flat to give away to a friend :)
On experience, this year marks my graduation and me getting my first job as a software engineer :D.
The coin flip went in alcappucino's favor, but the remaining games are up for grabs if you think your friend might enjoy them.
Grats on both!
Hi! Can I have Human Fall Flat, please? 🙂 have a great one!
PMed you a gift link :)
Any chance I could have Abyss Odyssey? Sounds neat
I forgot to post about a meaningful experience from this year. I have working hard on growing as a leader at my company, it has been challenging but I enjoy it. Thanks!
Glad you're finding it rewarding!
PMed you a gift link :)
Thank you!!
If anyone still wants a game, reply to my comment with what you want and I’ll dm the game to the first response.
Edit: Game given!
