Anyone else watching Killing Eve?
I've truly enjoyed the season and may rewatch it soon. Anyone else up to date or binging?

For example: they depicted Amy using a very tiny cell phone because at the time phones were getting smaller and smaller.
There are so many unique episodes in the series and a lot humor in my life originated from Spongebob. I'd love to hear what others see as their favorite episode and how that humor carries over into your everyday humor.
My favorite episode is Shanghaied, there are so many subtle jokes in the episode that will always make me laugh. Easily my favorite line is the interaction between Squidward and Spongebob as Squidward is climbing the anchor rope up to the Dutchman's Ship; "Well, I'm gonna get to the bottom of this thing. Wouldn't that be the top?".
@sense8: One final mission. June 8th. https://t.co/AJpWUVZATL
I’m only able to watch some of the seasons in my country, but my wife and I have been loving it. It’s so rare to find a reality show where it doesn’t feel like people are tearing each other down. And we’ve been learning a lot too!
Has anyone seen this? What an amazing show on Netflix. Will there be a season 2? https://www.netflix.com/title/80122179?s=i&trkid=13752289
If anyone here is into cartoon/animated TV shows and I wanna know what you guys watch and if you would recommend anything!
Here's some of the stuff I watch:
Adult Cartoons:
Kid friendly cartoons (but still pretty good imo):
I've been thinking about watching Archer and Star Vs The Forces of Evil.
I feel like most people on reddit (and probably here, too) only really watch American shows, but there IS a lot of good content in Europe and other countries as well. Sometimes those shows come to the US in a butchered, Americanized remake, but those are rarely as good as the original show.
Bonus points if it's not orginally in English (so British & Australian shows don't count either!).
One of my favorite tv shows (at least the first season) is the French 2012 supernatural drama series Les Revenants. It's got a captivating story with some great acting and a killer soundtrack (by the Scottish post-rock band Mogwai, if you're into that kind of music). It fell apart a bit in season 2 and never got picked up for a third season, but it's still very much worth watching for that first, brilliant season.
So there's this new HBO show called Succession. I just watched the first episode and thought I might write down some thoughts and see what others think.
It's the story of a rich family that controls a big media conglomerate. The father and head of the company is planning to retire soon and the children want to know what's in it for them.
It is definitely up to HBO standards, beautifully shot and nice score. I really liked the zoom bursts.
There's a lot of shade, bottled up anger and potential double crossing. In a superficially calm ocean of relationships there's constant tension between the characters. It's a family feud about power grabbing and power abusing, touching on privilege and values, with some awkwardness mixed. Characters don't leave you indifferent and after just one episode you already have a pretty good idea of what kind of persons they are, and whether you like them or not.
I'd give the pilot a 8/10 and I'll definitely keep watching. Recommended.
Anyone else watched it? Impressions?
For me, its Arrested Development and South Park. I love AD for its meta-humour and inside jokes. However, I liked only the first three seasons. Here is a great video explaining what makes AD different. South Park for great satire and taking the humourous approach on complex topics. This video explains better than I could.
So, which are your favorite comedy tv shows and why do you recommend them?
;-P
And holy crap this is well made. I hear it gets better in the later seasons, too! It makes me upset that we don't have more science fiction television of this quality, but also glad that I finally found this show. Hopefully I can get caught up quickly and join in with the rest of the world for the season finale. How do you all feel about The Expanse and other contemporary science fiction television?
I've been binging the new season (well, half-season, as I think 8 more episodes will air later this year) over the weekend. What do you guys think of it so far?
@netflix: Drink it in, peasants! @Disenchantment, the latest series from The Simpsons creator Matt Groening, premieres August 17 on Netflix.
I'm looking for something new to get into.
I discovered this series while browsing something on Netflix Kids with my kids and after finishing the first season I already knew it was going to be one of those jewels that you absolutely love.
Both me and my kids waited with anticipation every new season and now that it's ended I sincerly have that bittersweet feeling of something good that ended but that couldn't have ended better than this.
I strongly recommend everyone to give it a watch, either if you have kids or if you just love animation's movie. It's really something special.
The series is completed (spoilers in this article) as stated previously, several time, by the creator Gulliermo del Toro and this just proves how it was a labour of love instead of a milking machine (looking at you How To Train Your Dragon").
Also some info about the two upcoming spin-off, 3 Below and Wizards.

Is anyone watching Legion? Thoughts on it? I'm caught up on S2 and it's great, I might be liking S1 more at the moment though.
So I thought I’d start a little discussion after cancelling my Hulu trial here.
As a devout advertisement-hater and pihole-deploying, block-W10-analytics-at-the-firewall-level neurotic, I went for the more expensive ad-free plan thinking it got me out of the creepy tracking/analytics too. Surprise! It does not- uMatrix lights up like a Christmas tree when you load anything *.hulu.com
I don’t like being the product. I feel being tracked and analyzed etc makes me exactly that.
What do you all think? Is wanting a non-tracked video/tv streaming service too much to ask for?
Edit: Just to help exemplify my point, a little snippet from the Hulu privacy policy:
“For clarity, even if you have not consented to Hulu sharing Viewing Information together with your personal information, we may still share information collected from or about you”
Now that the ABC TV show Deception has aired its season (and series) finale, I wonder if anyone caught this show and what they think of it. Do you think it had any potential?
For me, someone else suggested I seen it, so I watched it with very low expectations and it was good enough for me that I caught every one of the 13 episodes.

It's nothing official and not even something anyone is working on but I found myself smiling at the thought of a post-finale season that could shows what the various character are doing.
During an interview, Amy Poehler and Nick Offerman were promoting their new show "making it" and were asked about going back to Pawnee. Apparently they would be glad to do it.
Anyway even if this is just "por parley" I found nice to see Nick and Amy will be on screen again soon.
What's your opinion on a sequel of P&R or the new show?
Edit: damn autocorrect "telling" was "talking"
@casanvar: I'll just let him say it... #TheExpanse #RocinanteIsSafe #BreakingNews Thank you @JeffBezos https://t.co/wxHN31zgJs
Looking for some direction as I tend to get lost in Netflix/Amazon
It's a good time to have Netflix if you need some quirky original comedy in your life.
Both seasons look like they'll be split in half, which means we'll have more to look forward to later in the year too!
Only sad thing is that it looks like this'll be the last season of Kimmy and who knows about more AD - but let's not be sad, let's be happy that we are getting what we are!
No spoilers here (since I'm not sure there is a mechanic for hiding them yet), but that was a fun episode last night.
Between this and Legion, there are some legit-strange visuals on tv nowadays. And it's not like they're strange in a horror or shocking way. They're just weird. I'm into it.
@thelonelyisland: So happy to announce: NBC IS PICKING UP BROOKLYN 99 for SEASON 6!!!
