I'm in a similar boat. I think it's a function of most of the steam audience doesn't use PC games as their primary downtime activity and of the people who do, most of them play a much smaller number of games total. So, if you happen to approach video games differently than average, your stats will be skewed compared to the average.

57 games played, 21 fewer than last year (what kinda crack was I on then?)
817 achievements, 4 fewer than last year (I couldn't plan that level of precision if I tried).
60% of my time was on Deck versus desktop, but 50/50 split in terms of game count -- most games I played on both, and apparently a similar number exclusive to each. I haven't had the energy to game on my desktop this year.
Most played games include Skyrim, Kingdom Hearts, Cyberpunk 2077, Dragon's Dogma 2, Cassette Beasts, and Where Winds Meet. Many of my games were sub 20hr experiences.
Additional shout-outs for Dispatch, Straftat, Great God Grove, Dungeons of Hinterberg, HASTE, Children of Morta, Severed Steel, and Metal Bringers. CrossCode too but I mostly played that last year and just haven't gotten to the DLC. I forget if Infinity Nikki was more this year or last, that was non-steam so not counted in replay.
And of course this doesn't count the untold hours I spent playing Net Driver on my phone or chatting about it on discord or cracking its formulas or making my sites... That one probably takes the ultimate cake in 2025.
JC's Steam Replay 2025 63 games played on Steam. Which is 19 more than last year. 337 Achievements Unlocked. Which is 185 more than last year. I even 100%'d some games this year; for the first...
And, contrary to public opinion, my top is genre is NOT Detective games! It's JRPGs, followed by City Builders, then Colony Sims, then Detective games.
Surprisingly...49% KB&M vs 51% Controller! Is this sessions? Games? Either way, did not expect that as I've always considered myself a "proper" PC Gamer with KB&M superiority. Yet, controller just often makes sense, especially when playing from the couch. Hell, sometimes I'm at my desk and computer, but playing on my Steam Deck via controller. *shrug*
Big change from last year is that I only spent 4% of my playtime was on 2025 new games. Last year was 44% of playtime on 2024 new releases. But last year was an outlier, because in 2023, it was only 7% on 2023 new releases.
If I had to guess what game I played the most this year, it's probably FFXIV again. I don't use the Steam-associated client, so I don't have a means of easily measuring playtime. Which is probably a good thing.
I spent a lot less time gaming this year, but still a lot! https://s.team/y25/jnbgttm?l=english Did I only play 130 hours of Monster Hunter Wilds this year? Yes. 95 hours in Megabonk as well. I...
Did I only play 130 hours of Monster Hunter Wilds this year? Yes. 95 hours in Megabonk as well. I think I'm slowly slipping into the "play one game for longer" kinda mentality now, but maybe I should work on my backlog and join the backlog burner event some time!

Nothing too crazy for me.
29 games played (5 more than last year)
199 achievements (56 fewer than last year)
75/25 split between keyboard & mouse vs controller
Outside of using Fantasy Grounds, top games played were Hi-Fi Rush and Citizen Sleeper.
Otherwise the only stat that really stood out to me is apparently I played nothing via Steam that was released in 2025. All bar one every game played is listed under the "Recent" time frame of released in the last 1-7 years, the outlier being Spec Ops the Line, which I finally got around to playing this year.

My most played game was a Tildes recommendation! I can't remember who brought up Proverbs here, but thank you to whoever did - it became my go-to relaxation game for a couple months.

445 Achievements, with 146 of them being rare ones. I managed to get 135 more than last year, which was my goal. If I want to beat this years record, I might have to 100% DRG survivor and The binding of Isaac for it.
82% controller to 18% Kb&M, checks out, I play a lot of things with controller, as that's more comfortable for me.
Top 3 games were Helldivers 2 with 33% of game time, ER Nightreign with 13% of game time and Elden Ring with 11% of game time.

My biggest games were:
Elder Scrolls V: Oblivion: Remastered: Had some jank, some issues from the "refresh" but I spent a ton of time just doing as many gates as I could (58) for the MSQ, and will revisit it next year for DLC stuff with another character.
Balatro: Kicked off a roguelite addiction, I've got so many I've played:
Dungeon Clawler (get this one!)
Aotenjo: Infinite Hands: Like Balatro but Mahjong. Great game, once you wrap your head around it.
No Man's Sky: They killed it with the expeditions, I still haven't beat the MSQs yet. 99% of my hours are expeditions, to a tune of 88.
Megabonk: 10-minute 3D Vampire Survivors-style game dropped in September(?) '25. Great game, memey, but solid, addictive gameplay.
Avowed: Dropped, then Oblivion had to go and shadow-drop. I'm back into Avowed as it's a phenomenal game.
My Steam Deck breakdown has me playing a lot of Puyo Puyo Tetris as I go through the story, Dungeons and Degenerate Gamblers, Slay the Spire, and Vampire Survivors.
Funnily enough there's a little bit of Umamusme: Pretty Derby which I was curious about and bounced off hard enough I removed it from my library lol.

Supervive is a game that really resonated with my friend group and we ended up doing weekly play sessions for a couple of months. It's been a while since a game managed to do that, so it pains me a little to see the player numbers continuously drop into what i can only assume is financial unsuitability.
I've been gradually switching to Linux over the last few years, and the Steam Replay is actually a pretty good indicator of how successful I've been in this endeavor.
This year I did 98% of playtime on linux, compared to 2% back in 2022.

Clearly you need to get exactly 4 more achievements in the next two weeks to make them match!
The Backlog Burner is a hell of a drug. 😁
