We had nothing to watch and for once Netflix didn’t show utter shit as a recommendation and I found this. After checking the reviews, they seemed… positive. 100% on RT and Decider said "Stream It". As my wife and I both love British crime dramas, we decided to give it a chance.

And boy, was it worth it.

The show is in the genre of crime/detective/noir-ish/LBQT/drama ;) One warning, while it plays (estimated) 30% in Tokyo and 70% in London, the language is about 80% (estimated, again, might just be because those parts were harder) Japanese.

We follow a Japanese detective who (eventually) travels to London. Some characters are down to earth, some are cartoonish. None of them seem unfitting. I don’t want to say too much to avoid spoilers, but if you like the crime shows and can handle having to read subtitles most of the time (or speak Japanese I guess ;)), you should really give this a chance.

It’s on Netflix at least in the US and Germany ;)
