In other words, just having the game be complete, with expansions. Games have gotten more expensive to make over the years, but the price has largely remained the same. This is what has caused microtransactions to become so widespread.

I've been out of the MTG scene for a while but I'm going to try to follow today in the background while I work. I'm really interested in how things go with the PT pushed back a few weeks from release, it doesn't sound like we're expecting any breakout decks to pop up. It should be starting right about now, the stream is available on Twitch.

I had this game on my phone for awhile but only just started last night. So far I think it's neat what kinds of landmarks can be pokestops, like a little fountain by a restaurant or a very old building. It also reminds me of those pokewalker things from long ago, the ones that counted your steps. It also kills me when a church is a gym.

Now I'm not walking everywhere or buying plane tickets trying to do this but it's pretty pleasant so far. What are your thoughts, Tildes?

Edit: I took my first gym at a quaint little church and the Nidorino I left there came back about 6 hours later. There's more people playing this than I realized, also more churches lol.

Let's do it guys! Every good forum/community from Ars Technica to the XKCD forums has had a go taking turns playing the most detailed simulation game I have ever seen. I can generate the world for ideal 44.10 (and hopefully 44.11) settings with my extra adventurer reactions.

I'm relatively new to PoE so really looking forward to this new league. Thinking I may start with Molten Strike or something like that. Still undecided, like usual :)

Personally I'm really digging my current character. He's a alligator themed lizardfolk hick with a thunder cannon named Cletus Cornelius Crocodilius the 3rd who loves to hunt and read pulp fiction and trashy romance. His current favorite book is "Throws of Passion" the story of two luchadores who have to grapple with their feelings for each other.

Hello ~games

Do any of you have experience finding D&D groups who still play traditional table-top, IRL, Minis-inclusive, dice obsessive D&D in Toronto? I have never played outside of Roll20 and I can never figure out where/what to look for in a group (preferably one that's just starting out like me). Having grown up watching the likes of Acquisitions Incorporated and Critical Role, I've always wanted to experience that sort of camaraderie :(

Who here plays Dwarf Fortress? It is such an amazing game that I only got back to playing last night after a weeks-long hiatus while focusing on my job.

I prefer playing Adventurer mode with some crafting mods, and exploring the land - socializing, having fun, making NPC pals, and being a hero.

Maybe we can do a Tildes DF succession game!

In advance of (I hope) ~gaming.tabletop.StarWars.Xwing :) Any other X wing players here. I was falling out of love with it, but the relaunch for second edition really gets me excited to play again, which is great as i have maaaanay tiny plastic spaceships to push about.

Me and a few buddies have recently picked up Guild Wars 2 (playing on Stormbluff Isle) and we haven't really done much WvW. We all enjoy Open World PvP, and I believe there is a lot of potential there, but we need a larger group to really get into it. Anyone on ~ that plays GW2 on SB Isle that has a group to roam WvW?

Anyone want to team up and play together? If so, what missions do you mostly play? Personally, I enjoy playing any endless fissures in the Void for as long as I can, long Kuva Fortress for a lot of Kuva, Eidolons, farming things for Plat, and helping other players in recruit chat.

There's a game that was coming out that let you play as either an active shooter or as the SWAT team that responds to it.

IMO, it looked pretty garbage to play, but seemed to be banking on controversy. And... controversy it got.

What are your thoughts on this? Should steam have banned it?

Anyone remember playing this text based door game? I ran a mud board (majormud/mbbs) for about 5 years until last year, but i could never find infinity complex. That was until recently, i found a torrent with an old MBBS 6.25 including IC.

For those not familiar with Stardew Valley: Developed by ConcernedApe, Stardew Valley is a farming simulation RPG that can be compared to Harvest Moon. Quite enjoyable solo, even more fun as a multiplayer game with the new update. Available on the Switch as well as other consoles. Currently the MP is only available on Steam/GOG.

Are any other Tildes playing? Have you tried modding (on PC)? Who's your waifu/husbando?
