I’ve been a software developer for about three years, and I’ve always been enticed by and passionate about the open source scene. I have an assortment of projects variously available on GitHub and GitLab, but this is the first time I’ve ever created an open source project intended to be used by others.

Pliant is a barebones starter kit for anyone wanting to self host their own blog. It came out of my own efforts to start a blog, and it’s what currently powers https://tfhe.shanemoore.me.

I’d love to hear you’re feedback, or just discuss open source, blogging, web technologies, or whatever else comes up.

Identify a topic/target audience and a piece of "required viewing" for that topic/audience.

"Required viewing" means that you consider the video content you've chosen to be so important or relevant that it is essentially mandatory for those interested. Also, explain why you feel so strongly about it. What makes the video "required" rather than just "preferred"? What makes is stand out over other videos like it?

For example, maybe there's a concert video that you consider essential for rock music fans. Maybe there's a TV series that's an essential introduction to space exploration. Maybe there's a movie that's a must-see for new parents.

Any video media is fair game. Movies, television, online series, livestreams, documentaries, YouTube videos. Whatever. Also, if it's publicly streamable, include a link for us!

    3. While on the search page, make clicking links to your "subscriptions" move the search to that board.

I was looking to see if anyone had talked about the TV show Person Of Interest and forgot to go to ~tv before searching. I know its not a major thing since it only took me a few seconds click to...

I know its not a major thing since it only took me a few seconds click to the right place and search there, but it might be nice if you could filter the general search results from the sidebar instead of just viewing the board you clicked.

    4. What are your favourite episodes of 99% Invisible?

99% Invisible is a podcast about "the unnoticed architecture and design that shape our world". Episodes from other podcasts that have a similar theme are always welcome. Edit: moved my favourites...

Edit: moved my favourites to a comment.

The question is open to anyone attending any level of school in any capacity. How are you feeling? What are you excited about? What are you nervous about? What are your goals? What are you hoping...
