    1. Is there an easy way to make ctrl/cmd-enter work everywhere?

I don't want to ask this question in "default" groups as peeps that monitor this group will likely know the answer, and I support not making "Tildes a site about discussing Tildes" :) inline-edit:...

inline-edit: for context this was originally posted in ~test.

I am probably one of the most heavily mobile-first users here, but when on desktop, I really want ctrl-enter to work everywhere. Is there some way to make sure all "save" buttons use ctrl/cmd-enter across the entire site? Can this be done via a class or something?

If not, I can go through the whole site and find places where it does not work.. first example is in the new awesome edit tags ui.

    2. Can someone explain the hype around Super Mario Maker 2?

I don't understand what makes the game appealing. It looks like it takes forever to make a level, and why would I want to play levels from random people on the internet? I like games that you...

I like games that you build stuff like KSP but just wondering what the appeal of SMM2 is.

Here's a list of a things that came out in this past week, up through Friday. Of course, there's no way to be completely comprehensive with this and we avoided including things where information was too lacking, so feel free to mention anything that isn't on here that you think is worth mentioning. Beyond that, if you have any thoughts of any of these albums, it would be great to hear them :)

If you want to, feel free to find the thing you're talking about and link to its pages on Anilist, MAL, or any other database you use!

FYI: I have already seen the old standards such as Bebop, Trigun, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Mobile Suit Gundam, Ghost in Shell, Macross, and maybe a couple others. But this standalone universe of Planetes made me realize there may be a lot more out there of which I am unaware. Thanks!

Shovel Knight is essentially an NES game that got released in 2014, as its design and artwork are deliberately reminiscent of games for that system. It's a definitive example of an answer to the question, but I'm also interested in games that weren't necessarily intended to be throwbacks but can be interpreted as such by nature of their execution.

What are other examples of games that feel like they could have been released for, say, the Dreamcast, PSOne, SNES, or any of the other consoles of yesteryear? Furthermore, what are the defining traits they possess that make them fit in on that system?

I'm putting together a panel for Tech Worker's Coalition for SXSW 2020 and the focus of my panel is on tech contracting.

Specifically we're looking to speak on the issues of labor rights and how they are effected by contracting.

Anybody interested or have experience with the subject?

In case I forget to check Tildes (I joined and then I always forget to check it) my email is aslan@jackalope.tech

We've also got a couple of other panels brewing on the subject of unionization in tech and another on the recent controversies between tech workers and their companies over social issues (such as google walkout over sexual harassment, wayfair's walkout over selling beds to ICE etc)
